Just wanted to share with the students a hello and let them know I miss them! I want to try to have the students connect with each other since we are all mostly at home. Homework: Read everyday! Read your historical novel if you have it. You will be asked to write a summary about the book and a summary about the historical event your book represents. I was thinking students could present to me via a video? Anyway, I will officially be allowed to send out real details after the break. Math; IXL work through all the fractions and decimals. I may send you a quiz later later through our google accounts :). Remember your passwords are all the same: math52. Just think about the start of your google accounts to access your IXL. 5-3 Families I have added you into my IXL. I will have to individually email each of you with account information access for math IXL. Start with the fractions unit. PE; Do something active! youtube videos are available for yoga, or other exercises, or just dance videos to move around a bit. ALso going for a walk is good too. Don't forget to be active! I have found some fun things for kids to try while they are at home. Of course these ideas I post today are not a must. My goal is to have some art options, math options, virtual tours, PE options, science options and whatever else might come up as a possible idea. I have not been asked to do this. Mrs Presley's number one choice is to please read! Read anything newspapers, graphic novels or regular novels. Read something you already read. Using masks, we had to make scenes representing an emotion. Masks help us with keeping a neutral facial expression, forcing us to use body language to communicate an emotion. Groups were given an emotion and they wore the masks while presenting the emotion. They were not allowed to make any noises. The masks forced us to really watch what the body was doing.
